Use the Insert > Text command, click on the icon on the command toolbar, or press the F5 key to insert a new text object in the active worksheet following the currently selected objects.  The new text object will be enclosed in a box indicating that it is selected.  Also, a blinking cursor will appear at the left end of the box indicating the point at which text can be entered.


You can use the formatting toolbar to change the font style, size, justification, and color of the text.  Use the Window > Customize > Toolbars command8SF280 to turn on or off the toolbar.  When you have finished editing the text object, click outside the text object or press the Esc key.
