Use the algebra window Edit > Annotation command to modify the annotation associated with the highlighted expression in the active worksheet.


When a new expression is added to the worksheet, it is given a default annotation summarizing how it was created.  An expression’s annotation is displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the Derive application screen when the expression is highlighted.  Also, the annotation is optionally displayed before the expression when the worksheet is printed or previewed.
