Click on the Options > Display > Renumber Expressions command to toggle on or off the automatic renumbering of expression label numbers when expressions are moved or deleted.


If automatic renumbering is off, moving, deleting, and undeleting expressions can cause the expression label numbers to get out of order.  If automatic renumbering is on, label numbers are automatically kept in sequential order and the label numbers in annotations are automatically updated, provided the label numbers are preceded by the # character.


Expressions and annotations are automatically renumbered when expressions are saved as an mth file using a File > Save command28BM_XL or a File > Save As commandKPANNO.
